David Shannon (born 27 March 1948; age 77) is an actor and author who appeared as a Human official in the Star Trek: Enterprise fourth season episodes "The Forge" and "These Are The Voyages..." He received no credit for his appearances but is listed on the call sheet.
As an actor, Shannon worked between 1997 and 2012 under the Screen Actors Guild. He was a regular background actor on Alias between 2003 and 2006 where he worked with Bart Noggle and Nikki Flux. Other projects include episodes of The Practice (1999), NCIS, Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy (2004, with Holmes R. Osborne, Chuck Poynter, Paul F. Tompkins, Glen Hambly, Jimmy Bennett and Scott St. Blaze), and Slipstream (2007, with Christian Slater, Michael Clarke Duncan, Fionnula Flanagan, William Lucking, Scott L. Treger and Bill Blair).
Besides acting, Shannon also works as author and published the books "Hell in the Head" and "The Four-Twenty Group". Today, he resides in Atlanta, Georgia.
