Chuck Poynter (born 3 November 1948; age 76) is an actor who appeared as an Imhotep dignitary in the Star Trek: Voyager seventh season episode "Drive". He received no credit for this appearance but is listed on the call sheet.

Poynter appeared as announcer in Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy (2004, with Holmes R. Osborne, Glen Hambly, Paul F. Tompkins, Jimmy Bennett and Scott St. Blaze) and its sequel Wake Up, Ron Burgundy: The Lost Movie (2004, with Stephen Root). In 2008, he briefly appeared as Dylan, the boss of Arthur's boss, in the How I Met Your Mother episode "The Chain of Screaming".
