DOTs

DOTs were a type of worker robot utilised by Starfleet, used for repairs, refits and maintenance. They were able to operate in both the interior and exterior of starships and space stations, typically seen using anti-grav technology and maneuvering thrusters to make their way through environments. (DIS: "Such Sweet Sorrow, Part 2", "Scavengers"; ST: "Ask Not")

It wasn't unusual to see variations of the same model, like with Dot sporting red markings instead of the typical blue and with added antlers. (ST: "Ephraim and Dot")

By the 25th century Starfleet was utilising heavy duty models onboard its starships, these could be seen repairing the USS Titan-A when the ship had taken heavy damage to her warp core and other essential systems. (PIC: "Imposters")

By the 32nd century they were designed with a wider detached head and smaller arms, the newer models were capable of working alongside the older DOT-7s without issue during the retrofitting of the USS Discovery. The newer models also featured internal data storage of a sufficient capacity to house the Sphere data that was normally stored within the Discovery's main computer. These DOTs also featured colored trims around their eyes and upper arms that corresponded to the various division uniform colors of this era. (DIS: "Scavengers", "There Is A Tide...", "That Hope Is You, Part 2")

Star Trek Online features combat and non-combat versions of DOT-7s and a variety of DOT-23s as player-owned "pets", in-game the DOT-7s are described as aging utility drones.
