The Currency Disposal and Recycling Center was a facility on Targalus IX. It was established in 2382 for the disposal and recycling of the planet's vast amounts of paper money, gold, and gemstones, which had become obsolete following the Targalans' abandonment of capitalist economics.

Lieutenant jg Brad Boimler and Ensigns Gorm and Mackler from the USS Cerritos were assigned to assist in the disposal process outside the Center. (LD: "Shades of Green")
