Crystallization

Crystallization was the process of matter being organized into a crystal.

On stardate 47182.1, Deep Space 9 had been temporarily evacuated due to a violent plasma disruption. After Constable Odo and Chief Miles O'Brien had sealed off numerous airlocks in the upper and lower docking pylons, they had to check the outer bulkheads to make sure there wasn't any crystallization from the plasma discharges.
