Cornwell's cruiser was a 23rd century Federation Class C shuttlecraft attached to the USS Discovery.

In 2256, this shuttle was used for transporting Admiral Katrina Cornwell to the USS Discovery and later to the planet Cancri IV. (DIS: "Lethe")

Cornwell later boarded the Discovery aboard a Class C shuttle in 2257, when the ship was a fugitive from Section 31. (DIS: "Project Daedalus")
