A clothing shop was a place where articles of clothing could be purchased.

Roots was a clothing store in the Toronto Eaton Centre in Toronto, Canada on Earth in 2022. A time-travelling La'An Noonien-Singh and James T. Kirk materialized nearby in cold weather. Lacking currency and requiring contemporary winter clothes both for warmth and as a disguise, they resorted to stealing some from the Roots store.(SNW: "Tomorrow and Tomorrow and Tomorrow")

In 2369, Garak described his establishment to Julian Bashir as a clothing shop and suggested he visit to make purchases or pass the time of day. (DS9: "Past Prologue")

In 2371, Kathryn Janeway asked for the location of a clothing shop on a Delta Quadrant planet so she and Tom Paris, ostensibly visiting from Kalto Province, could change into more appropriate attire. (VOY: "Time and Again")
