A Class A shuttlecraft

The Class A shuttlecraft was a type of warp-capable shuttlecraft used by the Terran Empire. The shuttle came equipped with transporters.

In an alternate timeline experienced by Emperor Philippa Georgiou via the Guardian of Forever, Duggan, one of Captain Gabriel Lorca's top lieutenants, owned a Class A shuttlecraft. During his ownership, he had the engines rebuilt.

In 2255, Duggan, using the alias "Carnelian", sent a message to Lorca from this shuttle. At the time of the transmission, his shuttle orbited the planet Risa. Many hours later, the ISS Discovery intercepted the shuttle above Risa and disabled its engines with a photon torpedo. Once his shuttle was disabled, Duggan attempted to beam down to the surface, but was prevented by the Discovery which had him transported to its brig. Emperor Georgiou then ordered Captain Sylvia Tilly to destroy the shuttle. (DIS: "Terra Firma, Part 2")

The interior of Duggan's shuttle was a reuse of the set for Burnham's ship.
