Boradis system

The Boradis system was an inhabited planetary system which was located somewhere in the Alpha or Beta Quadrant.

The system was affiliated with the United Federation of Planets in the 24th century, with the first outpost established in 2331 on Boradis III and three others by 2365. Nine other Federation outposts were established in the sector. These thirteen colonies had minimal defenses.

In 2365, the USS Enterprise-D, just outside this system, intercepted a Klingon sleeper ship IKS T'Ong from the late 23rd century and prevented it from attacking the Federation colonies. (TNG: "The Emissary")

This system was only mentioned in dialogue.
In the pronunciation guide for "The Emissary"'s script, the name of this system was listed and it was pronounced "bo-RAD-iss."
