Bishop (chess)

The bishop was a piece in the game of chess that moved along diagonals along the chessboard.

When the computer of the USS Enterprise-D was affected by nanites in 2365, it responded to an inquiry with the moves "pawn to king three, knight to rook four, queen to bishop three". (TNG: "Evolution")
