Yeoman Baker was a character portrayed by Barbara Baldavin in a scene which was eventually cut from the Star Trek: The Original Series first season episode, "Space Seed".

In the scene, Baker was a friend of Marla McGivers, who relayed to McGivers that, "Hanson from the physics lab asked if you were coming to the rec room tonight… McGivers rejecting the offer by responding, "Tell "Mister Afraid to Ask Me Himself" that I'm waiting for a man who'll break down my door and carry me to where he wants me." [1]

The scene in question was filmed on 21 December 1966.

Baker was also referenced in The Trek Encyclopedia (2nd ed., p. 12) as being "A Member of the Enterprise crew."
