BYOB was an abbreviation Tom Paris used when telling B'Elanna Torres that she should "bring her own bat'leth" when referring to his "date" with her on the holodeck. (VOY: "Distant Origin")

Another variation on the phrase this originated from was found on the Enterprise NX-01 Chef's menu in 2152 ("Bring your own bib"). (ENT: "Singularity")
