In 2152, Chef's dinner menu for the crew of Enterprise NX-01 advertised a homestyle barbecue meal on Sunday August 24th, with "Bring your own bib" in brackets. (ENT: "Singularity")

In 2371, Garak used a napkin as a bib, tucking it into his shirt collar. (DS9: "Distant Voices")
