Areore ship (large)

The Areore ship was a type of large starship used by the ancient Areore in their interstellar wars. It was similar in design to the more common smaller Areore ship, and armed with a more powerful version of its energy weapon. The ship could land on a planetary surface.

When the ancient Areore decided to return to a pre-industrial lifestyle, they abandoned their ships in underground caves on Areolus.

In 2381, Rawda showed these ships to Peanut Hamper, who secretly invited Drookmani scavengers to take them as part of a plan to redeem herself to Starfleet. A Drookmani ship later arrived and began tearing the ships out of the ground with a tractor beam. After Peanut Hamper destroyed the Drookmani ship from within, the enraged Drookmani beamed to the small Areore ship they had excavated and attacked the Areore village and the USS Cerritos above.

With his village burning and the Cerritos outmatched by the Areore ship, Rawda took control of a larger Areore ship and shot down the Drookmani. Landing the ship afterward, he declared to his people that henceforth they would defend their way of life without fear. (LD: "A Mathematically Perfect Redemption")
