Andorian sector

The Andorian sector was a region of Federation space in the Beta Quadrant. It bordered the Vulcan, Orion, Melona, Tango, and Solaria sectors. This sector was named after the Andorian system.

In the 2380s, a section of the holographic map of the Alpha and Beta Quadrants, displayed to the former prisoners of Tars Lamora aboard the USS Protostar, was labeled as this sector. (PRO: "Starstruck")

Locations

Although this sector was seen to be in the Beta Quadrant in the episode, this sector has been relocated to the Alpha Quadrant as this is in line with other star charts and dialogue which placed the Andorian system in this quadrant.
The current location of Andorian sector in the Beta Quadrant was based on the most recent star charts seen in Star Trek: Strange New Worlds and Star Trek: Section 31.
In the Star Trek: Star Charts (pp. 19 & 36), an alternative name for the sector was given as Sector 006.
