Alcorian Humans
An Alcorian was anyone or anything indigenous to or located in the Alcor system.
In 3189, when Zareh was trying to get Cleveland Booker to talk, he implied that he would eventually "sing like an Alcorian sorrowhawk. (DIS: "That Hope Is You, Part 2")
At some point in or after the late 32nd century, Humans colonized Alcor IV, which was also the homeworld of the Alcorian sorrowhawk and the cyclops owl. Nearly a thousand years later, Humans were still in the Alcor system, and fighting a war with the V'draysh. (ST: "Calypso")
Alcorian Human culture
It was not customary for an Alcorian to reveal their true name to a stranger. Instead, it was generally decided that the person one falls in love with would choose a name for them.
Their culture was very different from the V'draysh, who valued customs and things from the Long Ago, but Alcorians weren't like that, and chose to live their lives separate from that, forgetting about the past. Indeed, much of the culture from that period was long forgotten by Alcorians, who didn't know anything about tacos, Taco Tuesdays, or even Tuesdays for that matter.
Their lives were so far removed from the Long Ago that even things like classic films and cartoons such as Betty Boop weren't even as much as a distant memory, but totally lost in their culture. Instead, they enjoyed farming, fishing, and the sounds of the native birds on Alcor IV, which flew over the Reach.
Despite their peaceful lifestyle, they were no strangers to war. Craft for example, was a soldier that fought in a war against the V'draysh for several years. He was rescued by Zora on the USS Discovery, who found him in a lifeboat. After spending some time there he missed his family, and he didn't know if the war between the Alcorians and V'draysh was over or not – let alone who won. Nevertheless, he left Discovery in a shuttle and set a course for Alcor IV. (ST: "Calypso")
