The Hermosa Quake strikes the western coastline of North America, causing parts of the city of Los Angeles to sink under two hundred meters of water. (VOY: "Future's End") Bunker Hill was one of the few areas not destroyed. Later, a block of the neighborhood is designated as a historic site and identified as the Forward Avenue Historic District.
