Pasteurella langaaensis is a Gram-negative, nonmotile, penicillin-sensitive coccobacillus from the family Pasteurellaceae.[2] Bacteria from this family cause zoonotic infections in humans. These infections manifest themselves as skin or soft tissue infections after an animal bite.[3]
