Oceaniglobus is a Gram-negative and aerobic genus of bacteria from the family of Rhodobacteraceae with one known species (Oceaniglobus indicus).^[1]^[2]^[3]^[4] Oceaniglobus indicus has been isolated from seawater from the Indian Ocean.^[4]
