Skin signs in diabetes mellitus

Diabetic dermadromes constitute a group of skin conditions commonly seen in people with diabetes with longstanding disease.[1] Conditions included in this group are:[1][2]

Acral dry gangrene Results from large vessel vascular disease[2]

Diabetic bulla Tense blisters on legs[2]
Diabetic cheiroarthropathy Thick skin resulting in contractures of fingers[2]

Disseminated granuloma annulare Red papules merged into annular shapes[2]
Dry skin
Eruptive Xanthoma Small bumps on outer surfaces of limbs and buttocks, typically red-yellow[2]
