Desulfatibacillum alkenivorans is an alkene-degrading, sulfate-reducing, Gram-negative, non-spore-forming and non-motile bacterium from the genus Desulfatibacillum which has been isolated from oil polluted sediments in France.[1][3][4][5][6]
