Anaerostipes rhamnosivorans is a Gram-variable, strictly anaerobic, spore-forming, butyrate-producing and curly rod-shaped bacterium from the genus Anaerostipes which has been isolated from the human faeces of an infant in the Netherlands.[1][3][4][5]
