Release information

Sword & Shield Series

This card was first released in the Japanese V Starter Set Fire and V Starter Set Lightning with artwork by Toyste Beach. It was first released outside Asia in the Sword & Shield expansion, which originated from the Japanese Shield expansion. In Japan, it was reprinted as an S-P Promotional card and was one of nine cards that could be obtained from 2020 Endorsed Independent Event Trainers Packs. Certified Event Organizers distributed these packs at events they oversaw in April 2020. This print has the collection number 055/S-P and features the Event Organizer logo in the bottom right corner of the illustration.

It was reprinted again in Japan in the Colorless Eevee V Deck and as another S-P Promotional card, this time with the collection number 136/S-P. This promotional print was available as a winner's prize at the 2021 Yokohama Champion's League, held at the Pacifico Yokohama, Yokohama on October 3 and 4, 2020[1] and at the 2021 Aichi Champion's League, held at the Aichi International Exhibition Center, Tokoname on March 28, 2021.[2] At these two events, the top 64 competitors from each League at the conclusion of the qualifying round received a copy of this print,[3] which is Mirror Holofoil and features the Championship Series 2021 logo in the bottom right corner of the illustration. Two other Champion's League meetings were scheduled for the 2020-2021 season, but those events were canceled in response to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.[4][5]
