Underhanded Refresh (Japanese: 異常相手攻撃時技回数回復 Move Points Refresh When Attacking Opponents Affected by an Abnormal Condition) is a family of skills in Pokémon Masters EX.
Effect
When the Pokémon successfully uses an attack move against an opponent that is affected by a status condition (poison, bad poison, paralysis, burn, sleep, or freeze), it has a chance of restoring 1 MP for the sync pair's moves, which includes moves usable by the Pokémon and the Trainer. The skill can range from Underhanded Refresh 1 to Underhanded Refresh 9, with higher numbered skills resulting in a higher chance of activation. Underhanded Refresh 9 will always restore 1 MP to the sync pair's moves. Currently, only Underhanded Refresh 9 is available on scoutable sync pairs. The skill applies to the Pokémon's attack moves, including
buddy moves, but not sync moves or
max moves.
