Team Weird Sp. Def Drain (Japanese: PF時攻撃時特防↑G&特防↓G Group Special Defense Boost and Group Special Defense Reduction When Attacking in Psychic Field) is a family of skills in Pokémon Masters EX.
Effect
When the user’s attack move is successful while the terrain on the battlefield is Psychic Terrain, it has a chance of raising the Sp. Def of the user and their allies, as well as lowering the Sp. Def of all opponents by one stat rank. The skill can range from Team Weird Sp. Def Drain 1 to Team Weird Sp. Def Drain 9, with higher numbered skills resulting in a higher chance of activation. Currently, only Team Weird Sp. Def Drain 9 is available on scoutable sync pairs.
The skill applies to the Pokémon's attack moves, including
buddy moves, but not sync moves or
max moves.
