Team Plasma (Japanese: プラズマ団) is a category of cards in the Pokémon Trading Card Game. They were introduced in the Plasma Storm expansion and are based on Team Plasma from the core series, although some Pokémon are only associated with Team Plasma in the TCG. These cards are distinguished by a blue Team Plasma label superimposed on the card art below the HP and type, and by a blue border instead of a yellow border for cards released outside Japan. Team Plasma's symbol appears as a watermark in the text area on standard prints, but is instead part of the artwork's background for Full Art cards. Standard artwork of Team Plasma Pokémon and Item cards feature a blue glow around them and blue lightning in the artwork's background. Certain attacks, Abilities, Trainer cards, and Special Energy cards interact specifically with Team Plasma cards.
Team Plasma Pokémon Cards listed with a blue background are only legal to use in the current Expanded format. Cards listed with a green background are legal to use in both the current Standard and Expanded formats.
