This card was included in the Snorlax-GX Box as one of the SM Black Star Promos, released December 14, 2016. A Jumbo version was also included in the box. In Japan, it was released in celebration of Pokémon Sun and Moon and distributed as a pre-order bonus sealed into both individual copies of Pokémon Sun and Moon as well as the Pokémon Sun and Moon Double Pack on November 18, 2016.
