Shadow Half (Japanese: ダークハーフ Dark Half) is one of several Shadow moves available only in Pokémon XD: Gale of Darkness. Like other Shadow moves, it is forgotten and replaced with another move once the Pokémon is purified.

Effect

Shadow Half deals damage equal to 50% of each Pokémon's current HP, rounded down, to all Pokémon in battle, including the user. It cannot cause fainting. The user is forced to recharge during the next turn.

Shadow Half cannot be used if the user is under the effect of Taunt. Damage dealt by Shadow Half is counted as an attack for the purpose of Bide, Mirror Coat (but not Counter), and Focus Punch.

As Shadow Pokémon cannot be traded, and since Pokémon Contests do not exist in Pokémon XD: Gale of Darkness, Shadow Half cannot be used in Contests.

Description

Games Description
XD A shadowy aura's energy cuts everyone's HP by half.
