Shadow Bolt (Japanese: ダークサンダー Dark Thunder) is one of several Shadow moves available only in Pokémon XD: Gale of Darkness. Like other Shadow moves, it is forgotten and replaced with another move once the Pokémon is purified. It is the signature move of Shadow Zapdos.

Effect

Shadow Bolt is a Shadow version of Thunderbolt. It deals damage and has a 10% chance of inflicting paralysis on the target.

As Shadow Pokémon cannot be traded, and since Pokémon Contests do not exist in Pokémon XD: Gale of Darkness, Shadow Bolt cannot be used in Contests.

Description

Games Description
XD A shadowy thunder attack that may paralyze.
