Pokémon Wave Hello (Japanese: Pokémon Wave Hello) is a free app developed by The Pokémon Company with Google for the Google Pixel 4. It was released in Japan, the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, India, Singapore, and Taiwan on October 15, 2019. It was created as a cross-promotion for the Pixel 4 and the Generation VIII core series games Pokémon Sword and Shield.
The app was removed from the Google Play store in June 2022.[1]

Gameplay
The game is primarily designed to demonstrate the Pixel 4's Motion Sense capabilities, but on phones without this functionality, the player can simply tap the screen instead.
During the game, the player is prompted to perform certain motions, such as waving at and petting a Pokémon. The player must complete a simple task or two for each Pokémon.
After clearing the last Pokémon, the game suggests that these Pokémon can be caught in the upcoming Pokémon Sword and Shield games and then shows a ring of five Poké Balls containing each Pokémon. Selecting a Poké Ball will show information about its occupant.[2]
