Magneton (Japanese: レアコイル Rarecoil) is a Lightning-type Stage 1 Pokémon card. It was first released as part of the Surging Sparks expansion.

Release information
This card was included as a Regular card and a Full Art illustration rare card in the Japanese Super Electric Breaker expansion. The Regular print features artwork by Nisota Niso, while the Full Art illustration rare print features artwork by Shinji Kanda. The Regular card was included in the Surging Sparks expansion, while the illustration rare print was made into an SVP Black Star Promo print numbered 159, available in the Surging Sparks Elite Trainer Box released September 3, 2024. A second version with the Pokémon Center logo above the Retreat Cost was made available in the Surging Sparks Pokémon Center Elite Trainer Box from the same day.
An SVP Black Star Promotional print of this card numbered 153 with new artwork by Shinya Mizuno was one of the Prerelease promos for Surging Sparks, available in the Surging Sparks Build & Battle Box. A print with a gold foil "Staff" stamp was given to those overseeing Prerelease Tournaments. A Non Holofoil version of the Surging Sparks card was also included in the Surging Sparks Build & Battle Box.
