Magical Torque (Japanese: マジカルアクセル Magical Accel) is a damage-dealing Fairy-type move introduced in Generation IX. It is the signature move of the Ruchbah Starmobile.

Effect

Magical Torque inflicts damage and has a 30% chance of confusing the target.

Encore, Instruct, Mimic, and Sketch fail if the target's last used move was Magical Torque. Copycat fails if the last used move was Magical Torque.

• Prior to the release of The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero expansion for Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, Magical Torque was:
  • The only Fairy-type move to have been introduced in Generation IX.
  • The last Generation IX move in index number order.
• Magical Torque is the only physical Fairy-type move that does not make contact, outside of Z-Moves and Max Moves, though it is not accessible in regular gameplay.
