Release information

This card was included as a Regular card, a Full Art ultra rare card, and a special illustration rare card in the Twilight Masquerade expansion, first released in the Japanese Transformation Mask expansion. The Regular and ultra rare prints feature artwork by GIDORA, while the special illustration rare print features artwork by Teeziro.

In Japan, the Regular print was reprinted in the Stellar Miracle Deck Build Box. It was later reprinted in the Terastal Fest ex subset, alongside a Full Art special illustration rare card with new artwork by Iori Suzuki; both prints were released internationally in the Prismatic Evolutions special expansion.

In Japan, the Regular print was reprinted again in the Battle Partners Deck Build Box and as an SV-P Promotional card. The promotional print was one of seven cards that could be found in Pokémon Card Gym Promo Card Pack 10, which was distributed at Pokémon Card Gym venues able to do so from April 18, 2025.[1] The promotional print features the Pokémon Card Gym logo.

During the Japanese MEGA Series, the Regular print from the Scarlet & Violet Series was reprinted in the Japanese Premium Trainer Box MEGA.

Trivia

Origin

Kieran is a rival character introduced in The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero. The Twilight Masquerade prints depict Kieran in the land of Kitakami. The Twilight Masquerade regular print depicts Kieran in front of Peachy's shop at Mossui Town, while the special illustration rare print depicts Kieran at Kitakami Hall during the Festival of Masks. The Prismatic Evolutions special illustration rare print depicts Kieran as he appears in The Indigo Disk.
