Hit the Gas (Japanese: ゲージ消費増威力上昇 Move Gauge Cost Increase Power Boost) is a family of skills in Pokémon Masters EX.
Effect
A sync pair with this skill has the move gauge cost of their Pokémon's moves increased by one. This skill does not affect Trainer moves that cost move gauge slots to use. The increased move gauge cost is displayed in menus and in battle. In addition, the power of the Pokémon's moves are boosted by 10% per rank of this skill. This applies to the Pokémon's attack moves, including 
buddy moves, but not sync moves or 
max moves. The skill currently comes in two varieties: Hit the Gas 5 and Hit the Gas 9, providing a 50% and 90% power boost to the Pokémon's moves, respectively.
