Effect

When the Pokémon successfully uses an attack move against an opponent that is trapped, it has a chance of lowering the target's Speed by one stat rank. The skill can range from Hit Trapped Opp: Speed ↓ 1 to Hit Trapped Opp: Speed ↓ 9, with higher numbered skills resulting in a higher chance of activation. Hit Trapped Opp: Speed ↓ 9 will always lower the target's Speed. Currently, only Hit Trapped Opp: Speed ↓ 9 is available on scoutable sync pairs. The skill applies to the Pokémon's attack moves, including buddy moves, but not sync moves or max moves.
