This card is included in the Surging Sparks expansion, first released in the Japanese Super Electric Breaker expansion, with artwork by Tomomi Ozaki. In Japan, this card is reprinted as an M-P Promotional print and is distributed as part of a McDonald's Japan campaign running from August 9 - 11, 2025. Customers who have bought a Pokémon Happy Meal set during this period are eligible to receive a Pikachu promo card and 1 random promo card selected from the following: Sprigatito, Fuecoco, Quaxly, Ralts, and Riolu.[1] The M-P Promotional print features the McDonald's logo.
