The Dubious Disc (Japanese: あやしいパッチ Dubious Patch ) is a type of held item introduced in Generation IV . It allows Porygon2 to evolve into Porygon-Z .
In the core series games Price Effect Causes Porygon2 to evolve into Porygon-Z when traded while holding it. This consumes the Dubious Disc. In Pokémon Legends: Arceus , due to the absence of held items, the Dubious Disc simply needs to be used on Porygon2 to trigger the Evolution, which consumes the item.
