Release information

This card was included as a Regular card, a Full Art ultra rare card, and a special illustration rare card in the Surging Sparks expansion, first released in the Japanese Paradise Dragona subset. The Regular and Full Art ultra rare prints feature artwork by GIDORA, while the special illustration rare print features artwork by DOM.

A Full Art special illustration rare print of this card with different artwork by Tomowaka is included in the Prismatic Evolutions special expansion, first released in the Japanese Terastal Fest ex subset.

In Japan, a Mirror Holofoil SV-P Promotional version of the Regular print with the Pokémon Card Gym logo was awarded to winners of New Set Battle events held at participating Pokémon Card Gym venues from January 24, 2025. These events require players to use at least four Pokémon cards from the Battle Partners expansion in their decks.[1]

Drayton is a student attending Blueberry Academy and a member of the BB League Elite Four. The Polar Plaza of the Terarium is featured in the Regular print's illustration. The Prismatic Evolutions special illustration rare print depicts Drayton in an indigo background, alluding to his Dragon-type specialty.
