Dragonite (Japanese: カイリューEX KairyuEX) is a Colorless-type Basic Pokémon-EX card. It was first released as part of the Evolutions expansion.
Card text
When you play this Pokémon from your hand onto your Bench, you may put 2 Basic Pokémon (except for Dragonite-EX) from your discard pile into your hand.
Discard an Energy attached to your opponent's Active Pokémon.
Pokémon-EX Rule
When a Pokémon-EX has been Knocked Out, your opponent takes 2 Prize cards.
Release information
This card was included as both a Regular card and a Full Art card in the Evolutions expansion, first released in the Japanese Expansion Pack 20th Anniversary subset. The Regular print features artwork by Ayaka Yoshida, while the Full Art print features artwork by Ryo Ueda. A Jumbo version of the Regular print was later available in the Dragonite-EX & Pidgeot-EX Kanto Power Collection from November 1, 2020.
In Japan, the Regular print was reprinted during the Scarlet & Violet Era and was one of twelve SV-P Promotional cards that could be found in Extra Battle Day Promo Card Packs. These packs were distributed at Pokémon Card Gym venues hosting Extra Battle Day events from January 1, 2024.[1] This print is Non Holofoil and features the Extra Battle Day logo.
