Release information
This card was included as both a Regular card and a Full Art card in the Darkness Ablaze expansion, first released in the Japanese Infinity Zone expansion. Both prints feature artwork by PLANETA Mochizuki. The Regular print was reprinted in the Shining Fates expansion, first released in the Japanese Shiny Star V subset. A Shiny version of the Full Art print was available as one of the SWSH Black Star Promos in the Shining Fates Premium Collection—Shiny Crobat VMAX from March 5, 2021. This print features the collection number SWSH098. In Japan, this print was available as a S-P Promotional card in the Crobat V Shiny Box from December 25, 2020.
Another SWSH Black Star Promo print, numbered SWSH110 and with different artwork by the same artist, was available in the Trainer's Toolkit 2021 from August 6, 2021. This print was included in both of the Japanese High-Class Decks. In Japan, the Infinity Zone Regular print was reprinted alongside a Full Art Secret card in the VMAX Climax subset. The VMAX Climax Full Art Secret print, which has artwork by GOSSAN, was later included in the Lost Origin expansion.
In Japan, Non Holofoil copies of the SWSH110 print were included in the two VSTAR Starter Sets; the Infinity Zone Regular print was reprinted as a Non Holofoil in the VSTAR Premium Trainer Box. The latter was also reprinted during the Scarlet & Violet Era and was one of twelve SV-P Promotional cards that could be found in Extra Battle Day Promo Card Packs, which were distributed at Pokémon Card Gym venues hosting Extra Battle Day events from January 1, 2025.[1] This print is Non Holofoil and features the Extra Battle Day logo.
