Bug Enigma (Japanese: むし攻撃時特防ダウン Special Defense Reduction During Bug Attack) is a family of skills in Pokémon Masters EX.
Effect
When the Pokémon successfully lands a Bug-type attack on the target, it has a chance of lowering the target's Sp. Def by one stat rank. The skill can range from Bug Enigma 1 to Bug Enigma 9, with higher numbered skills resulting in a higher chance of activation. Bug Enigma 9 will always lower the target's Sp. Def. Currently, only Bug Enigma 9 is available on scoutable sync pairs. The skill applies to the Pokémon's usual attack moves, including 
buddy moves, but not sync moves or 
max moves.
