Beyond the Pokédex, also known as Pokémon: Beyond the Pokédex,[1] is a monthly web series created by The Pokémon Company International and uploaded on the official English PokémonYouTube channel. Each episode focuses on one Pokémon; the series's hosts, Spruce and Maple, elaborate on the featured Pokémon and its Pokédex entries, as well as its appearances in various Pokémon media such as the games, animation, manga, and TCG. In many episodes, the featured Pokémon was one that also prominently appeared in some other content posted on official Pokémon social media around the same time.
The series's first season ran for a year, from July 2023 to July 2024, with a total of thirteen episodes. A second season began in April 2025, along with a series of YouTube Shorts that feature Spruce and Maple sharing a fact about a particular Pokémon.
