Release information
This card was included as a Regular card, a Full Art ultra rare card, and a special illustration rare card in the Scarlet & Violet expansion, first released in the Japanese Violet ex expansion. The Regular and Full Art prints feature artwork by GIDORA, while the special illustration rare print features artwork by kantaro. The Regular print was also included in the Obsidian Flames expansion.
A Parallel Holofoil version of the Regular print was used as a promotional card for 2023 Championship Series Regionals. This print features the "Pokémon Trading Card Game Championships: Regional" logo in the bottom right corner of the card artwork. A version of the card with a "Staff" stamp was handed out to event staff. In Japan, a Mirror Holofoil SV-P Promotional version of the Regular print was awarded to winners of New Set Battle events held at participating Pokémon Card Gym venues from January 20, 2023. These events required players to use at least four Pokémon cards from the Scarlet ex or Violet ex expansions in their decks.[1] This requisite was expanded to include cards from the Triplet Beat subset in events held from March 10 up until April 13, 2023. This print has the collection number 030/SV-P and features the Pokémon Card Gym logo.
In Japan, the Regular print was reprinted in the Metal Melmetal ex Start Deck. It was later reprinted in the Shiny Treasure ex subset, alongside a special illustration rare print with new artwork by aspara. The special illustration rare print was later included in the Paldean Fates expansion outside Asia.
In Japan, the Regular print was reprinted again in both of the Japanese Starter Deck & Build Sets, in the Stellar Miracle Deck Build Box, in the Battle Partners Deck Build Box, and as an SV-P Promotional card. The promotional print was one of seven cards that could be found in Pokémon Card Gym Promo Card Pack 9, which was distributed at Pokémon Card Gym venues able to do so from January 24, 2025.[2] The promotional print has the collection number 238/SV-P and also features the Pokémon Card Gym logo.
During the Japanese MEGA Series, the Regular print from the Scarlet & Violet Series was reprinted in the Japanese Premium Trainer Box MEGA.

Origin
Arven is a student at Naranja AcademyS/Uva AcademyV. The Poco Path Lighthouse is featured in the Scarlet & Violet Regular print's illustration. This card's special illustration rare prints in both the Scarlet & Violet and the Paldean Fates expansions feature Arven's Mabosstiff, which plays a prominent role in his story in the Pokémon Scarlet and Violet games.
