When starting davmail (6.3.0-3627-1) on Ubuntu, I am getting the following info/error:

Error: Could not create the Java Virtual Machine.
Error: A fatal exception has occurred. Program will exit.
The configuration has not changed since Monday when i last started davmail without errors.
What do i have to change?
I looked through SO posts and found one about changes in the jre SO: Java 9 Options, but this does not help me, because i cannot change the davmail call. The .davmail.properties has no properties related to changing the option string.
