I am on 24.04 LTS. I have not had good luck installing a SIP/VOIP soft phone to use with my VOIP provider. I have tried the following:
Zoiper 5 - When Zoiper opens it requires you to enter a username and password, however the fields will not accept any data.
LinPhone - Installed ok but it is missing the numerical dial pad to make calls, which is on the Windows version.
Twinkle: Installed and working, however it does not have a numerical dial pad so when asked to enter a number, such as "For English press 1" I cannot do it.
Any suggestions for other apps would be very much appreciated.
This post was closed as a duplicate. I do not understand how this could be a duplicate for a post that is 14 years old. Some of the software 14 years ago does not even exist. Surely in 14 years there maybe new or revised software. In addition, the old post indicates a need for commercial grade software, and that is not indicated anywhere in my post.
