I am following The Odin project and installed my virtual machine according to it. I have been trying to install Chrome correctly for a couple of days now (https://www.theodinproject.com/lessons/foundations-installations#google-chrome-installation). All of the following things were done on Xubuntu 22.04 and later 22.04.5. Upon installation, when I try to sign into my account, it produces errors. I have attached a couple of screenshots. The error in the first screenshot came when I had completed my sign-in.
Then I decided to completely uninstall Chrome using information from this post- How to uninstall Google Chrome?. I then installed chrome again according to the lesson. Upon trying to sign in, now I am getting the error as shown in the second screenshot.
I also sometimes get another error- ERR_SSL_VERSION_OR_CIPHER_MISMATCH
My internet is working just fine on Firefox in the VM. I did a fresh installation of my VM again and updated it to 22.04.5 and installed Chrome as well, but the problem still persists. What should I do now?
