Tropes that are associated with Aiden Atrocity! include:
- Animals Hate Him: The Bloodhounds do not take very kindly to being woken up by Aiden's mom and girlfriend in Crimson Peak and proceeds to chase them all around Crimson Peak until the latter loses sight of them.
- Didn't Think This Through: Upon overhearing Reaper, Amiira Storm, Bianca Starr, Sinclair Blakely, and their associates harassing Newton and his friends, Aiden decides to intervene in an attempt to protect them. However, this decision is made without a clear plan or understanding of the dangers involved. As a result, Reaper, the Storms, and Bianca abduct Aiden and take him to Crimson Peak to teach him a painful lesson. Aiden's well-intentioned but impulsive action, lacking foresight and preparation, leads to severe consequences, thereby illustrating the Didn't Think This Through trope.
- Disproportionate Retribution: Reaper and his associates, along with Sinclair Blakely and her allies harass Newton and his friends over a plan they have about protecting Newton. Earlier in the episode, they break into their houses to threaten him and his friends. Their reason for doing so? All because they made flyers about them in an attempt to mock them. Sinclair and Amiira even go the extra mile of threatening to have their personal information leaked onto the dark web if they choose to defy her orders.
- And later, when Aiden intervenes to protect his friends from harassment by Reaper, Sinclair, and their associates, the Reapers retaliate by abducting him and taking him to Crimson Peak to teach him a painful lesson. This extreme response to Aiden's attempt to defend his friends exemplifies their tendency to overreact with excessive and unjustified retaliation.
- Downer Ending: The episode concludes on a somber note, highlighting the transformation of Amiira Storm and Bianca Starr via Sarah "Flame" Evans's advice, completely Foreshadowing the next episode.
- Kick the Dog: As part of their Disproportionate Retribution, Amiira Storm tells Newton's friends that Sinclair will have no issue killing them on the spot.
- Law of Disproportionate Response: The Reapers respond to Aiden's attempt to help protect Newton and his friends by kidnapping him and taking him to Crimson Peak.
- Oh, Crap!: Newton and his friends react with fear and alarm when the Reapers and the Strikers suddenly appear to harass them again.
- Where Everybody Knows Your Flame: Has a manor variant, inverted, and discussed: As a part of the episode's Downer Ending, Sarah "Flame" Evans offers advice to Amiira Storm and Bianca Starr, suggesting they take certain actions seriously, which helps the latter two get serious, thanks to Sarah "Flame" Evans's helpful advice.
