      They were lured inside the "playhouse" with their favorite animated cartoons. Then the door was shut, ending the movie and leaving the child in the silent, black confinement of a simulated, unoperating refrigerator. The results were sometimes ominous. Many of the 2- and 3-year-old children made no escape attempt at all.
