Etymology
A modification of truth bomb, from the notion of such information being as powerful as a nuclear bomb. The term is recorded from 2009, when a website TruthNuke.com was created, and was mainly used in right-wing circles on 4chan and Twitter before reaching virality in 2024.[1][2]
