skymap (plural skymaps)

  1. (astronomy) Any of several charts or maps, similar to a star chart, that show the distribution of some particular, measurable parameter (such as microwave radiation, temperature etc).
  2. (astronomy) A map of the night sky used to identify and locate astronomical objects such as stars, constellations and galaxies.
